The PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme is a government initiative launched to support micro-level food processing businesses by promoting modernization, formalization, technology upgradation, and business growth within the food processing sector. The scheme aims to strengthen small food processing units, enhance product quality, improve branding and packaging, and increase competitiveness in domestic and regional markets. Under the PMFME Scheme, eligible food processing enterprises may receive financial assistance for machinery purchase, infrastructure development, expansion, technology upgradation, branding, marketing, and business formalization activities. The scheme supports a wide range of food processing sectors including bakery products, spices, dairy, pickles, flour mills, oil processing, fruit & vegetable processing, packaging units, and other agro-based food businesses. The scheme also encourages entrepreneurs, self-help groups (SHGs), cooperatives, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), and small food manufacturers to adopt organized business practices and improve operational efficiency. We provide complete consultancy support for PMFME projects including eligibility assessment, Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation, financial projections, subsidy documentation, bank loan assistance, application processing, and coordination with relevant authorities to help businesses successfully avail scheme benefits and establish sustainable food processing operations.
